For a number of years now, alongside working in the Netherlands, Berenschot has increasingly focused its advisory services on the European Union. In this context the Berenschot EU Team supports government bodies dealing with complex European issues and we help organisations to find their way through the corridors of Brussels. Apart from Dutch clients, we also work for EU institutions, such as the European Commission, on assignments covering a wide range of topics.

What will you do as an EU talent?
As an EU talent you will be involved in carrying out assignments for EU institutions. You will join us on client visits, carry out desk research, conduct interviews with various parties, formulate initial findings and final conclusions, and contribute to study reports.
What do we have to offer?
An exciting place to work and a unique opportunity to help solve complex issues for EU organisations. You will take part in a training programme with sessions every two weeks, with lots of mentoring and support, as part of a fun group of other talented EU recruits. You will initially be hired for the duration of a specific project and for about six months. Often there are opportunities for advancement to the role of junior consultant. Who will you work with?
Berenschot’s EU consultancy team consists of five EU-focused, highly qualified, energetic and creative professionals.
What will you bring?
- A completed master’s degree in European or international relations, management science or public sector management.
- 1-3 years of work experience, preferably at a national or European consulting or research firm and in European projects.
- A demonstrable interest in European issues.
- Strong analytical ability and excellent social skills.
- An international outlook.
- An excellent command of English.
